Another theft by Dennis "Sangharakshita" Lingwood


"The good is very often the enemy of the best."

You find this fine and clever sentence on page 87 of Lingwoods booklet "Peace is a Fire", funnily enough in a chapter entitled "Morality". As a source for this the "Seminar on The Stability of Societies" is given.

Unfortunately for Lingwood, everyone with a little literacy knows that this saying is commonly associated with Voltaire... And Sangharakshita even got the quote wrong... You might wanna google that for yourself.
