Over the years friends and foes alike have assumed time and again that I am hiding behind the name Verdex. Nothing could be further from the truth. So let me make this clear once and for all: Verdex is not a nickname (even though it started as such back in 1985, long before Al Gore invented the Internet ;) but it has become my official stage name. It is in my official papers such as my ID-card and my passport. There is no hiding. As far as I know (though I never did, so I am not sure) I am even entitled to sign legal documents and contracts as Verdex. On the other hand, especially non-Germans seem to have difficulties with my civil name. For example, when Michael "Jayarava" "mahaabaala" Attwood wrote his Wikipedia-article about me, he misspelled my forename. When "WhoisVerdex" set up his blog about me, he totally got my surname wrong. That's annoying ;) So, to make things easier for everyone, I am using my name Verdex. C'est ca.
